For those who are curious of my current computer set up. Here is a list of all of my computers. Just like the UNIX philosophy, every single one of my computer has it’s purpose and it does it’s job really well.
My main laptop is a unibody MacBook Pro. I haven’t even bothered installing Linux on it, simply because Snow Leopard just works. I also have Virtualbox VM instances of CentOS, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, Ubuntu, and Windows Server 2003.
2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB RAM (in the plans of upgrading it to 8 GB)
500 GB HD (In the plans of upgrading to an Intel 120GB SSD)
rubyninja
Rubyninja is a mid-2010 Mac Mini that functions mainly as a hypervisor. Although it is not a headless VM hypervisor since it’s running VirtualBox on top of Mac OS X Lion, rubyninja is running virtual machine instances of CentOS, RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu, FreeBSD and Windows Server 2003 rock solidly.
2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
8 GB RAM (upgraded from 2GB)
